A Deer in the Woods in Jasper National Park

Solitary and small families of deer are commonly spotted in the woods around lakes in Jasper National Park - this is the easiest place to see deer.

Taking a picture of a deer, on the other hand, can be tricky. Deer seem to silently appear out of nowhere. Before you can get your camera up, the deer is gone.
